    Responsibilities:
    Be the liaison between the World Design and Engineering teamsWork with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize designer workflow, processes, and content pipelineEngage in complex technical areas such as AI, physics, animation, UI, and data managementBe the go-to person for the implementation of complex scripted content that stretches the capability of open world systems and breathes life into the ambient worldRequirements:5+ years of proven game design and scripting experience in a professional environmentA strong desire for solving complex technical and creative problemsA good understanding of object-oriented programming patternsAssume responsibility for scripting intricate content and systemsSet the bar for the design department's implementation of scripted content

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Technical Degree (CS, IT, SE, CE, or equivalent work experience) is a plusMultiple programming languages: one of C/C++/C#/Java to a reasonable knowledgeAbility to drive problem solving by predicting problems, producing test cases, and implementing fixes in systems and toolsStrong experience with Visual Scripting languages (Kismet, Blueprint, etc.)A deep understanding of how open world systems affect gameplayLocation State(s)CaliforniaThe base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $111,160 to $204,460 per year.

    Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
