Description
We are currently seeking a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d) for our location in Ottobeuren, Compton.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, production-oriented design, and technical documentation of drilling and turning tools, machine components and assemblies, and complex assembly and measuring fixtures.

Your focus will always be on cost-effective manufacturing processes and reliable functionality.


Your tasks will include:

  • Independently creating production drawings for drilling and turning tools using 2D (Creo Elements/Direct Drafting) and 3D CAD systems (Creo Elements/Direct Modeling + SolidWorks)
  • Developing solutions and working out approaches to problem situations in production and quality assurance
  • Collaborating closely with toolmaking and grinding departments to create productionoriented designs and drawings
  • Maintaining and managing production documents, technical documentation, and parts lists in our company's database

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a technical product designer, preferably in the field of mechanical and plant engineering
  • Some previous professional experience in a technical field (desirable)
  • Technical understanding, analytical thinking, and a strong imagination
  • Ability to work constructively in a team
  • Motivation, structured work approach, and ability to work independently and reliably
