- Permit application development (., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges,
- Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Emergency Response Plans, and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs)
- Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (., Tier II and Form R)
- Assist with multi-media environmental compliance audits, addressing air, water, and waste regulatory requirements
- Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project work
- Write technical reports and support development of client proposals
- Comprehend and interpret regulations and guidelines
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study
- 2-4 years of experience in environmental consulting or EHS role
- Knowledge of environmental regulations preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform complex spreadsheet calculations and data manipulation
- Strong written and technical writing skills
- Experience evaluating regulatory applicability
- Experience providing on-site EHS support a plus
- Experience with on-site stormwater sampling and monitoring is a plus
- Experience with air monitoring is a plus
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
- Ability to perform field work and travel overnight
