- Field work: sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil gas & indoor air, aquifer testing, closure of underground storage tanks, oversight of remedial actions, and oversight of geophysical testing
- Office work: compilation, review & interpretation of sampling data, preparation of sections of reports & proposal, subcontractor coordination, summarizing data in tables and figures, etc.
- Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
- Mentorship of staff
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
- PG license will be highly regarded
- At least 3 years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, remediation & design, site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
- Project experience in the Pennsylvania Land Recycling Act (Act 2) and/or New Jersey Site Remediation and Waste Management Program beneficial
- Project experience in federal contracts beneficial
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel client meetings is required

Our Northeast Environmental business in Southeast Pennsylvania is looking for a Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.
