    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various manufacturing processes and technologies to drive efficiency and quality in our production operations.

    3 Month contract - with potential to be extended or full-time.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
    - Optimize production efficiency by analyzing production workflows, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
    - Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new product designs.
    - Implement and maintain quality standards for manufacturing processes.
    - Provide technical support for production issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
    - Utilize CAD software to design fixtures, tooling, and equipment for manufacturing processes.
    - Oversee CNC programming and machining operations for precision components.
    - Apply knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure accurate product specifications.
    - Contribute to process engineering efforts to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
    - Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    - Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling purposes.
    - Experience with CNC machining operations and programming.
    - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate and weld components.
    - Familiarity with Quantum engineering concepts is desirable.
    - Previous experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
