Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in various manufacturing processes and technologies to drive efficiency and quality in our production operations.

3 Month contract - with potential to be extended or full-time.

Responsibilities:

Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
Optimize production efficiency by analyzing production workflows, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new product designs.
Implement and maintain quality standards for manufacturing processes.
Provide technical support for production issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Utilize CAD software to design fixtures, tooling, and equipment for manufacturing processes.
Oversee CNC programming and machining operations for precision components.
Apply knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure accurate product specifications.
Contribute to process engineering efforts to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling purposes.
Experience with CNC machining operations and programming.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate and weld components.
Familiarity with Quantum engineering concepts is desirable.
Previous experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
