    Job Title: Armed Security Officer at Allied Universal

    Job Overview:

    As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting and serving clients across various industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

    Compensation: $20 per hour

    Minimum Requirements for Armed Officers:

    • Minimum of 1 year of professional armed experience in the last decade
    • Ability to obtain an Armed Guard Card through the Nevada Private Investigator's Licensing Board (PILB)

    Training and Education Options:

    • Post Certification from an accredited Law Enforcement Academy
    • Certification from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)
    • Certification from Armed Forces Military Police, Security Forces, or Maritime Law Enforcement School

    Current Incumbent Officers: Existing Allied Universal officers interested in transitioning to an armed position must meet specific requirements.

    Approval Process: Applications and supporting documents must be reviewed and approved by the PILB Qualifying Agent or designated personnel before assuming an armed status.

    Training and Qualification: Candidates must complete a one-week training program conducted by the Allied Universal Regional Trainer and undergo requalification every six months.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to safety and security protocols
    • Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently
    • Conduct regular patrols within designated areas

    Basic Requirements:

    • Minimum age of 21 for armed positions
    • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant experience
    • Background check and drug screening requirements
    • Completion of industry-specific training programs
    • Licensing as per state and local regulations
