Job Summary

Oversee the technical development and implementation of budget information systems, budget formulation and maintenance processes, budget data management, technical training and report generation. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Budget Office management and staff and budget personnel campus-wide. This position typically will advise and counsel: Budget Office management. This position will supervise: technical staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Supervise the day to day operation of finance-related information systems.

Job Duty 2 -
Provide application and technical support to financial development and maintenance processes.

Job Duty 3 -
Develop and generate reports.

Job Duty 4 -
Provide users of financial applications with required application and technical support.

Job Duty 5 -
Maintains existing financial applications and oversees configuration, implementation, and user acceptance of new or enhanced modules.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Six to eight years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Certifications or Licenses preferred for this job: CPA

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires a working knowledge of information technology support systems related to budget accounting. Skills in database administration, project planning, management and implementation for web-based and PC platforms is required as well as specific software systems and applications.
