    **Description**

    **Summary/objective**

    The Hotel IT Systems Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the on-property/hotel teams as well as researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.

    **Essential functions**

    Responsible for day-to-day property/hotel information technology support for PMS, POS, and other property related system both hardware and software, installation, and upgrade s.

    Travel as needed for property on-board and off-board transitions.

    Point of contact to maintain 3rd party contract management for property IT systems .

    Maintains inventory, maintenance, and documentation of all systems at the property level.

    Assists in maintenance of project work plans for implementing IT solutions at properties level .

    Assists with education programs (IT related) and training for staff members at property level.

    Assists with maintaining PSI, PII, GDPR and brand standards .

    Maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) and policies for Information Technology at property level .

    Implement ongoing process improvement initiatives .

    Effectively deliver on complex situations and/or problems without guidance or supervision .

    Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize requests from many stakeholders .

    **Competencies**

    Experience with maintaining all or some of the following : Windows 10 , Windows Server 2019 , Office 365 , Property Management Systems (PMS: OnQ, Opera, LightSpeed, etc.) , Point of Sale Systems (POS: Agilysys, Micros, Opera, etc.), Mitel Prone Switches (Both IP and Analog) and n etworking equipment

    Basic understanding of internet protocols, SIP, (S)FTP, NTP, HTTP(S)

    Proven track record of superior troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail and resolution of technical problems

    Ability to navigate through rapid changes, flexibility, and imagination to adapt

    Enjoys working with high energy individuals to solve different challenges

    Excellent communication skills

    **Physical demands**

    Long hours sometimes required.

    Light work-exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

    Ability to travel.

    **Travel required**

    Up to 50% travel is required for this position. Must be willing and flexible to travel with limited lead time.

    **Education and experience**

    Minimum of 5-year of experience in IT System Administration and/or IT System Management

    Minimum of 3-year experience in hospitality IT

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field

    Current and/or prior experience with multi-unit, Hilton, Marriot, IHG and Choice IT implementation, preferred
