Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible professional position in the Bureau of Epidemiology. This position provides budget and fiscal oversight for Bureau activities within specified grants. This position works closely with the fiscal team, Section Administrators, the Bureau Chief, and the Division Director's Office. Responsible for monitoring the budget, fiscal, and administrative functions, including grants, state health fees, and those paid via county health departments and general revenue monies.

Provides support to the Bureau Chief and Section Administrators on the fiscal aspects of personnel and operations. This includes supporting the bureau's operating budget, procurements, expenditures, projected deficits, and corrective actions. Review P-Card charges and allocations in the Works System, purchasing of supplies, and travel request.

Performs other assigned duties, including special tasks related to responding to emergency events.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Financial Information Systems (FIS), Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR), AOD, Financial & Information Reporting System (FIRS).
• Skills and abilities in budget, data, reporting, auditing, purchasing, and contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree
• Two (2) years of experiences
