    Job Title:
    Financial Analyst


    Location:
    West Hills, CA, 91304

    Duration: 12 Months

    Must-Have Attributes

    Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in Finance or Account (focus on reporting and analysis)
    MUST have expert skill level in MS Office programs, specifically Excel.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting and consolidating divisional financial results.
    Collaborating with the business partners by facilitating the revenue forecasting process i.e., data collection, consolidation, and publication.
    Providing analytics, actual vs plan vs forecast.
    Having the ability to work and lead tight monthly accounting/reporting deadlines.
    Assisting in the preparation of MBR (monthly business review) and QBR (quarterly business review) reporting packages.
    Contributing to the maintenance of master data in the financial database.
    Supporting accounting team and other departments to meet monthly corporate SAP/HFM accounting and finance submission deadlines.
    Being initiative-taking and strong in problem solving, trouble shooting, root cause analysis, identifying and reconciling accounting issues.
    Performing ad hoc analysis on projects as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    3+ years' experience in an Accounting or Finance role, with a solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and analysis.
    Bachelor's degree required.
    Degrees in Accounting, Finance, or Business are preferred.
    Experience in database development and maintenance, preferably in MS Access and SQL server.
    Qualified candidates must have exceptional critical/analytical thinking skills and business acumen.
    Strong skill set in MS Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also required.

    Individuals must be professional and able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization while consistently delivering accurate work products and managing multiple deadlines.

    Must be able to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks in a complex environment with strong written, oral communication and people skills that demonstrate good judgement, tact, and diplomacy when collaborating with internal customers.

    Experience in extracting data from and loading data to multiple financial systems.
    Experience working in multi-site multi-currency environment.
    Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills with ability to multi-task.
    Excellent critical thinking skills with diligence; ability to step back and analyze the overall business impact.
    Willingness to dig into details and analyze variances and trends.
    Strong financial systems capabilities (HFM, (Essbase) CMR, SAP).
