    The Position Proposition:
    • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the transmission department in alignment with the overall organizational goals.
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission systems.
    • Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of transmission systems, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.
    • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to transmission operations and ensure compliance.
    • Develop and manage budgets for the transmission department, allocating resources effectively to meet objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless integration of transmission operations with overall business activities.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transmission activities, ensuring the safety and reliability of the transmission network.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on the performance and status of transmission operations.
    Educational & Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related field. Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) may be preferred.
    • Several years of experience in a leadership role within the transmission or energy sector.
    • In-depth knowledge of transmission system operations, grid management, and related technologies.
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, make strategic decisions, and drive results.
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to transmission operations.
