Essential Job Functions:

• Provide visionary leadership to the golf department, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Supervise and mentor the Director of Golf and Golf Course Superintendent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Ensuring that proper financial and inventory controls are maintained and all capital and project expenditures are closely monitored and controlled.
• Manage daytoday operations of the golf facilities, including tee time management, golf cart fleet, golf retail operation and course conditions.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Implement strategies to optimize golf course revenue and profitability, monitoring financial performance and budget adherence.
• Coordinate and facilitate golf leagues, tournaments, and outings, providing exceptional service to participants and organizers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote golf events and attract participants from both within and outside the club membership.
• Responsible for developing and implementing active and effective public relations programs to stimulate community interest, pride, and enthusiasm relative to the course and its operation.
• Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective and courteous relationships with the public, vendors, contractors, and anyone served by the facility and to tactfully and efficiently respond to complaints, concerns, and problems that may arise.
• Recruit, hire, and train competent staff members, fostering a customercentric mindset and commitment to service excellence.
• Collaborate with Food and Beverage manager and Event team on daily operations and event planning and execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Professional Golf Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course management or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customerfocused mindset.
• Proficiency in Golf Genius software and Microsoft Office suite.
• PGA certification (preferred).
