- 2+ years of experience in email and web marketing
- Expert knowledge in HTML/CSS coding for responsive templates
- Excellent understanding of how to target the appropriate audience for individual email campaigns
- Strong understanding and implementation of email marketing and data quality best practices
- Experience in designing and implementing email trigger and nurture campaigns
- Experience implementing email and contact engagement strategies
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Sharepoint
- Excellent organization and extreme attention to detail is a must
- Strong knowledge of email service provider platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
- Experience with AdButler and InboxMailer is preferred
- Flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Hands-on development, list pulls, scheduling, and deploying emails
- Monitor email campaigns and track, report, and analyze email metrics to provide digestible and actionable reporting to the marketing team
- Hands-on development and execution of autoresponders sent to prospects and buyers
- Participate in the implementation of systems, processes, and procedures for email marketing
- Provide knowledge in email marketing tools and resources to increase engagement and grow the channel
- Maintain quality of data within the marketing email system
- Work with marketing and creative teams to develop email templates and leverage email best practices
- Improve open rate and click-throughs on emails through improved design, testing, and use of best practices
- Create and execute email sends without errors and on schedule to the correct lists following brand guidelines
- Use top-performing email content to create, place, and monitor ads on the internal website
- Successfully implement complex and dynamic email blasts, autoresponders, and web ads
- Maintain high standards of deliverability and reputation while adhering to CAN-SPAM regulations

EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST
**Remote position**
Description
The Email Marketing Specialist position at Weiss Ratings is responsible for the hands-on development, execution, and deployment of email marketing for promotional emails, nurture/trigger campaigns, and autoresponders. Additional responsibilities include reputation management, testing strategy, growth of email channel, and maintaining the health of internal lists. A successful candidate will work independently and in partnership with the Marketing, Acquisition, and Production departments. Weiss Ratings uses Salesforce Marketing Cloud as our email marketing platform. Experience with Marketing Cloud is preferred but training and support will be provided to the Email Marketing Specialist so our email program can be improved further.
