    Description

    The following position is being recruited for on behalf of American Flowform and Machining, owned by Consolidated Boring.

    American Flowform and Machining is currently seeking a Manufacturing Associate. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be part of a team that is responsible for performing, cleaning, painting and testing on materials and products to ensure quality and customer specifications.

    A successful Manufacturing Associate will have to quickly learn our manufacturing process, products and how to operate our basic machines that will enable you to perform your job and make a valuable impact in helping us meet our goals and objectives. This is a night shift role Monday through Friday. Monday-Thursday you will work from 5:00pm – 1:30am. On Friday you will work from 3:30 to midnight.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Properly apply a variety of cleaning and testing methods by following standard operating procedures
    • Visually inspect material surfaces
    • Document, review and maintain necessary information to track results and any defects
    • Properly maintain cleaning, painting and testing equipment
    • Participate in special projects with cross-functional teams
    • Perform other responsibilities as required

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    Or

    • At least one (1) year experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment or military background

    Skills:

    • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and independently to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Strong ability to operate basic machines, read instructions and apply appropriate procedures
    • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
