- Develop and implement an overall strategy and plan for the Quality Department to exceed customer expectations.
- Champion quality programs that drive excellence and innovation.
- Assess and develop ongoing training programs to enhance the skill levels of the quality department.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to address nonconforming product issues and develop effective countermeasures.
- Provide leadership for the plant's Quality Control System, including QMS documentation control.
- Serve as the EMS coordinator for the facility and lead new product and process quality assurance initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality within the automotive manufacturing industry
- Must have TS 16949 training
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Previous experience in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) preferred.
- Must have knowledge of quality tools such as: SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, etc.
