Our esteemed client in York is actively searching for a skilled Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Controller and CFO, executing essential functions within the accounting department. Your dedication and expertise will contribute to the ongoing success of their organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2-4 years' experience in relevant field
Excel proficiency for data handling
Strong research and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with strategic thinking

Responsibilities:

Reconcile corporate accounts, manage journal entries
Prepare regulatory reports and ad hoc analysis
Assist in testing internal controls processes
Support external auditors with documentation
Update and maintain accounting policies
