    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    The Retail Support Specialist's Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Oversees operational standards for assigned area.
    • Provides ongoing training for branch teams, including operational and technical procedures.
    • Assists in implementing new products and services.
    • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all bank products, services, equipment, internal controls, and policies and procedures to be able to coach and train branch personnel.
    • Plays an active part during system and product implementation to ensure successful launches.
    • Identifies opportunities for changes and/or additions to processes and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness or compliance with policies.
    • Collects, documents and analyzes data to assess performance, operational integrity and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures, regulations, and customer experience standards.
    • Conducts mock audits in the branches.
    • Supports Internal Audit with ongoing follow-up resolution.
    • Prepares detailed written reports on assessment findings, reviews findings with management teams, makes recommendations on process improvements and initiates required actions and follow up to ensure violations are resolved.
    • Provides feedback to the VP, Branch Banking regarding operational concerns noted in the branches.
    • Consistently follows up to ensure success of operational standards and expectations.
    • Provide branch coverage assistance when needed.

    Working Conditions
    • When not traveling, the role is performed in a regular office environment and may require lifting up to 20 lbs. This is a full-time position which requires an occasional shift change to work on Saturday to support the branch hours of operation.
    Travel
    • This position requires 50-100% travel across the branch network
    Qualifications Summary

    Education
    • Associates' degree in business, accounting or finance, or equivalent 2 years related experience.
    Experience
    • Minimum 5 years progressively responsible Retail banking experience and familiarity with banking products, services and procedures preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience training employees.
    Knowledge & Skills:
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, along with strong organizational and follow up skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning through formal and informal training methods.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Proficient in all applicable internal Banking/ Core systems.
    • Proficient in researching and investigating issues.
    • Ability to work with sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
    • Customer experience focused mindset.
