- Oversees operational standards for assigned area.
- Provides ongoing training for branch teams, including operational and technical procedures.
- Assists in implementing new products and services.
- Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all bank products, services, equipment, internal controls, and policies and procedures to be able to coach and train branch personnel.
- Plays an active part during system and product implementation to ensure successful launches.
- Identifies opportunities for changes and/or additions to processes and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness or compliance with policies.
- Collects, documents and analyzes data to assess performance, operational integrity and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures, regulations, and customer experience standards.
- Conducts mock audits in the branches.
- Supports Internal Audit with ongoing follow-up resolution.
- Prepares detailed written reports on assessment findings, reviews findings with management teams, makes recommendations on process improvements and initiates required actions and follow up to ensure violations are resolved.
- Provides feedback to the VP, Branch Banking regarding operational concerns noted in the branches.
- Consistently follows up to ensure success of operational standards and expectations.

- When not traveling, the role is performed in a regular office environment and may require lifting up to 20 lbs. This is a full-time position which requires an occasional shift change to work on Saturday to support the branch hours of operation.
- This position requires 50-100% travel across the branch network
- Associates' degree in business, accounting or finance, or equivalent 2 years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible Retail banking experience and familiarity with banking products, services and procedures preferred.
- Demonstrated experience training employees.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, along with strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning through formal and informal training methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in all applicable internal Banking/ Core systems.
- Proficient in researching and investigating issues.
- Ability to work with sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Customer experience focused mindset.
