- Participate in weekly staffing meetings to discuss plans for accommodations for incoming students
- Conduct welcome meetings with new students to discuss "plan for success," assess needs, and arrange accommodations for those students when appropriate
- Schedule and proctor test out exams
- Act as a learning consultant for active students. Refer academic issues needing further review to Senior Student Success Specialist
- Communicate with parents, when appropriate and with consent, in regard to student progress
- Proctor testing appointments for SSS students, as needed
- Design and teach curriculum for SSS seminars, both on campus and online
- Document all SSS seminar attendance
- Refer students to outside agencies and other internal support departments (SAT, AA, SD, SL) when appropriate or requested
- Assist SSS students in self-advocating with faculty and staff. Advocate for them when necessary and appropriate
- Attend any necessary meetings/trainings interdepartmentally and otherwise
- Participate in extra curricular/student appreciation activities hosted by Student Affairs
- Maintain the integrity of the policies and procedures and ensure compliance with disability law (ADA and section 504)
- Document all interactions in regard to students
- Stay current w/ Full Sail policies and curriculum changes
- Keep abreast of changes in disability law and current disability research
- Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University
- Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
- Adheres to company attendance standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
