- Bachelors degree or above in an STEM discipline.
- Minimum 1 year professional or STEM academic experience in Quality Management Systems, e.g., International (ISO), National (AS) standards.
- Experience performing complete root cause/corrective and preventive action as related to Supplier performance.
- Certified Quality Engineer
- Experience performing surveillance as required for Quality applications.
- Experience evaluating Supplier performance and theworking knowledge of continuous improvement methodsto ensure improving supplier quality performance.
- Project Management training / experience.

Goals of the selected SQE are:
The selected candidate will be accountable forcollaborating with executive leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues, and ensuring execution is aligns with the quality and affordability goals set by the LM Aero programs.
The position requires about 30-50% travel within the United States.Based on supplier performance, location of work maychange after 18-24 months.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $64,400 - $123,400 .
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only)Non-represented full-time employees:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $74,000 - $139,400.
