    TITLE:
    Tourism and Marketing Coordinator


    REPORTS TO:
    Adams County Economic Development Corporation, Executive Director


    CLASSIFICATION:
    Part-time (15 Hours/week), starting at $18.00/hour


    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This position requires a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic person to develop and implement tourism assets and marketing strategies for Adams County.

    This role involves working with the Executive Director of Economic Development and Municipal Leaders to create and enhance tourism in Adams County.

    JOB DUTIES and


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Include but are not limited to the following:

    Marketing


    Develop and Engage with Tourism AssetsDevelop, Launch, and Maintain a Tourism WebsiteDevelop and Oversee a Tourism Marketing StrategyOversee all Aspects of Adams County Tourism's Social Media MarketingOversee the development, review, and distribution of fulfillment pieces, advertising, media releases, etc.

    on tourism and economic development-related subjects including occupancy, attractions, activities, events, facilities, marketing, and public relations.
    Develop Marketing Materials to Promote Adams County for Business and Talent Growth

    Community Involvement


    Establish a working knowledge and inventory of Adams County tourism assets, and consistently research potential new areas of asset developmentDevelop and Maintain partnerships with local organizations, businesses, surrounding communities, and regional marketing and economic development boards.

    Write and apply for funding through grants, sponsorships, and cooperative marketing programs.


    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
    Two years of college education or higher preferredPrevious marketing experience in a professional office environmentExperience with all aspects of customer service

    Proficient in Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint


    PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND REQUIREMENTS:
    Enthusiastic and organized.
    Positive, team-oriented individual.
    Projects professional appearance at all times.
    Experience working on multiple projects, meeting deadlines, organizing, and prioritizing assignments.
    Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
