    The Role


    As an Account Director II - Channel Management at Lumen, you will lead partner relations, leveraging our enterprise policies and tools to enhance the Partner Channel experience. Your responsibilities involve nurturing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strong relationships with telecommunications partners to expand our market presence.

    This role focuses on selling company products and services to business clients, managing indirect sales accounts, and identifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue.

    We are seeking candidates based in Boston, MA, who are willing to engage in 50% offsite customer visits. The majority of your time will be spent in the field within Boston, MA.

    The Main Responsibilities

    • Drive sales opportunities with Partner/Customer/Internal teams
    • Create strategies to increase revenue from existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling
    • Develop account plans to secure new business
    • Review and negotiate solution pricing
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with partners
    • Manage sales funnel and deal reviews
    • Provide accurate forecasts of sales opportunities
    • Lead partner engagement initiatives
    • Deliver training programs for partners
    • Collaborate with internal teams during the sales process

    What We Look For in a Candidate

    • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
    • Thorough understanding of company's telecommunications products and network capabilities
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or related field with 9+ years of experience
    • Proven success in building strong partnerships
    • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications products and industry
    • Familiarity with indirect sales model

    Compensation


    Compensation for this role varies based on the primary work location, taking into account individual qualifications and experience.

    Location Based Pay Ranges


    $150150 in specific states like MA

    Salaries are determined by factors including experience, education, skills, and business requirements.
