    Description

    Join Our Team as a Human Resources Specialist at Universal Orlando Resort

    At Universal Orlando Resort, we value face-to-face collaboration among our Team Members to drive our success. We offer hybrid work opportunities with a minimum of three days per week in the office for most roles, while some may require full-time on-site presence. Limited remote positions may be available in specific departments, and more details will be provided during the hiring process.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Provide HR support to Supervisors/Managers and hourly Team Members, focusing on maintaining positive employee relations.
    • Act as a liaison between various HR departments to assist with policy interpretation, performance management, training, and more.
    • Represent HR to Team Members across all operational areas.

    Flexibility is key, as this role may require availability during early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support on-site Team Members. Previous experience in employee relations and investigations is essential.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Consult with managers on Team Member discipline and performance issues.
    • Interact with Team Members in the parks to address concerns and promote positive relations.
    • Support performance reviews, counseling, and career development processes.
    • Provide guidance on benefits, payroll, policy interpretation, and career advancement.
    • Manage annual HR processes and special projects.
    • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Management, or related field is required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
    • Working knowledge of employee relations, staffing, and payroll is necessary.
