    Director of Clinical Quality - New York, United States - Tandym Group

    Description

    A health services network in Westchester County is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as their new Clinical Director of Quality. In this role, the Clinical Director of Quality will b responsible for implementing the organization's Performance Improvement plan and priorities consistent with regulatory standards and evidence based best practices

    Responsibilities:

    The Clinical Director of Quality will:

    • Develop and maintain department specific quality dashboards (Patient Care Services, ED, and Perioperative)
    • Lead and/or support clinical process improvement teams as needed to achieve quality and performance improvement goals
    • Oversee the management of and responsible for data analysis, collection and outcome measures related to CMS, NYS, AHA, Q-HIP, NDNQI, etc.
    • Conduct intermittent clinical audits based upon organizational needs related to regulatory compliance, new process, or policy
    • Coordinate mortality reviews
    • Serve as a regulatory resource regarding state and federal regulations and standards, including but not limited to CMS, TJC, and NYS
    • Create and present data needed for evaluation and appropriate action by committees, leadership, and quality improvement teams
    • Assist in improving patient experience through analysis of data and implementation of initiatives to improve performance
    • Perform other duties, as needed

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of related experience
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Open to a Quality or Stroke Coordinator background

    Desired Skills:

    • Master's Degree in Healthcare specialty
    • Stroke experience
