    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical preferred
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
    • Understanding of System Requirements Engineering required for customer functions within the electric drive systems field
    • Ability to author system/component level requirements
    • Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience
    • Product design: 1 year (Required)
    • Electric Drive Units, Electric Machines, Inverters: 1 year (Required)
    • Electric Drive Systems or EDS: 1 year (Required)

    Responsibilities

    • Generate and/or update engineering models, drawings, specifications, or other related documentation
    • Designing and laying out new electrical systems
    • Creating system models and simulations
    • Testing new systems and making design changes if needed
    • Producing necessary design reports and documentation
    • Assisting in the manufacture of new electrical systems
