Mechanical Design Engineer for Tool Construction (m/f/d)

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Tool Construction at our Bad Oeynhausen location.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and designing machines and tools for plastic extrusion
• Creating and completing basic and detailed designs, as well as components, using 3D CAD software
• Conducting strength and flow analysis using simulation programs and occasionally consulting with relevant departments at universities or colleges
• Collaborating with departments within the bc group, as well as suppliers and customers
• Leading or participating in value analysis projects
• Conducting technical presentations to support sales efforts and advising customers on new or complex tasks
• Assisting with the maintenance and development of the price list for sales

Your profile should include:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology
• Proficiency in the following areas: 3D CAD Creo by PTC with the Windchill database, SAP PPS database, FloEFD/Simulate strength analysis program, Flo
