Description

Responsibilities

Work with developers, system architects and users to review requirements and deliver database models and solutions to client & management members.
Support data infrastructure needs, including in data lakes, warehouses or marts.
Collaborate with BI and Data Analyst teams to normalize and aggregate data sets based on business needs.
Verify data integrity.
Provide data design, operational support and governance for privacy and security policy.
Job based in Boca Raton, FL (remote work permitted in FL or OH)

Requirements

Master's degree in Information Technology/Systems, IT Management or related technical field, plus 2 years of experience as Data Engineer or related occupation
Demonstrated experience with: developing and presenting solutions/reports to client/management members including: developing models in modern public data warehousing environments (Snowflake), developing dimensional models and running queries on edge databases (Oracle and SQL Server), auditing data, performance tuning SQL queries, working with ETL/ELT concepts (data integration, consolidation, enrichment and aggregation), and creating data solutions using SQL server tools (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
