    Description
    The Role:
    We are in search of a seasoned Analytics Engineer with vast expertise in constructing analytical data models, ELT data pipelines, and data warehouses in a contemporary cloud setting. As an Analytics Engineer part of a small, dynamic team, you will engage with a range of stimulating projects aimed at evolving and enhancing our data capabilities. Currently, our primary focus revolves around refining and advancing our core data models to facilitate predictive analytics. In this position, you hold the opportunity not only to directly influence the data but also to play a significant role in determining how to leverage the data to drive improvements in operations, product development, finance, and sales.
    Responsibilities:
    • Implement state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to establish comprehensive data pipelines
    • Create ELT workflows utilizing Fivetran and DBT for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into the data warehouse
    • Architect, execute, and sustain the dimensional data model of our data warehouse
    • Enhance data warehouse performance and uphold data quality consistency
    • Assist in integrating machine learning predictive models into production systems by offering data engineering proficiency
    • Develop models in ThoughtSpot that empower business users to address pivotal inquiries
    • Craft custom integrations with external APIs for data delivery
    • Leverage prior knowledge and expertise to refine existing business processes and contribute to new solutions
    • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to comprehend business needs and translate them into technical remedies
    • Keep abreast of current trends and optimal practices in data engineering, cloud technologies, and data science
    Skills:
    • 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or analytics engineer
    • Sound grasp of data warehouses, data pipelines, business intelligence tools, and the modern data stack
    • Hands-on experience in crafting and implementing dimensional models
    • Proficiency in SQL with contemporary databases (experience with Postgres / Snowflake is advantageous)
    • Background in DBT, Python, or AWS is a bonus
    • Experience with BI tools for automated reporting (proficiency in ThoughtSpot is a plus)
    • Familiarity with data science principles and assisting machine learning models is beneficial
