    What You'll Do:

    Responsibilities of the Retailer Services Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Process sales equipment work orders.
  • Ensure Lottery sales equipment work orders are communicated to the gaming system vendor in accordance with their procedures.
  • Check Ohio Lottery systems for new work orders and determine actions to be taken.
  • Process work orders with vendor.
  • Compare work orders in the vendor's retailer and service database to work orders in Ohio Lottery systems to ensure the databases match.
  • Respond to any inquiries from the gaming system vendor regarding work orders.
  • Track requests from Regional Sales Offices for Select 4 Units and coordinate with vendor regarding delivery.
  • Support retailers by facilitating the transfer of lottery equipment due to the sale of retailer businesses.
  • Respond to calls from Lottery Sales Representatives to transfer equipment from the old business to the new business.
  • Provide information and assist Lottery Sales Representatives with actions they need to complete on the equipment to perform the sale of business.
  • Update the status of the equipment for the old and new retailer in Ohio Lottery systems.
  • Escalate problems to the vendor's IT team when necessary.
  • Maintain open, consistent, and clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Review and summarize various reports.
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative and office support.
  • Provide regular updates to Deputy Director.
  • Perform other duties and work on special projects.
