    Description


    SUMMARYThe Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal and external quality processes based on industry standards and customer requirements.

    The Quality Control Manager has responsibilities for the administration of the overall plant quality system that supports reliable process operation including leadership and guidance to the Quality Control Team Members.

    This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

    (MNAe).About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLCMOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)


    Maintains the company's QMS and ensures the company remains compliant with IATF 16949 and required quality standards customers requiredComplies with MOBIS product development process and international standard systemAnalyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors such as production capabilities, quality issue trends, customer complaints, and 4M changesAssigns work and coordinates activities of all subordinate employeesSuggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing customer's requirementsReviews product design for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specificationsGenerate regular issue reports to MOBIS Senior ManagementSupports all Quality Engineering initiatives including Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, etc.

    Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goalsManages processing, approves documentation, and provides instructions regarding the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for customersInterfaces with process engineering, manufacturing plant, and customers on new product/process launchesUnderstand the HMGMA assembly process related to MAL-SV Module processesPresent Quality Improvement plans and countermeasures to MOBIS and HMGMA senior managementReviews reporting on quality problems or trends for suppliers and leads the corrective action processes for Supplier issuesCoordinates and performs process audits for supplier qualifications or process changesComplies with and promotes safety in the workplaceSupervisory Responsibilities:

    Required Education & Experience:
    A bachelor's Degree is required with a strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering area2 to 5 years as a Quality Manager or over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Quality EngineerRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment internal and external dealing with suppliers and customersKnowledgeable in training techniquesExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsYears of quality experience in the automotive industryPreferred Education & Experience:Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green BeltWorking experience with Hyundai / Kia / MOBISBilingual (English/Korean) is preferred but not requiredCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None Required

    Working Conditions:
    Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings.
