    Job Title: Storage and Warehouse Assistant Manager

    GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022.

    Department: Vehicle Processing Center (VPC)

    Reports to: Customer Service and Parts Manager

    Job Summary: Assists in managing and coordinating parts/warehouse Inventory and business support activities and programs to ensure safe, healthy, accident-free and productive work environment for employees in those areas. Supports parts department with technical, procedural, inventory control, and parts exchange support. Assists in managing the parts inventory database and parts operations staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implements and monitors pertinent programs and processes to reduce systems issues and downtime, monitoring customer issues and response time to improve effectiveness.
    • Maintains VELES vehicle data (Models, Accessories, Activities, Billing as specified.)
    • Monitors fleet shipment holds and releases to meet delivery windows specified by the customer.
    • Participates in audits and identify areas of improvement with actions plans.
    • Maintains company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
    • Supports training programs and makes suggestions on improving employees in CS, parts management, and support; provides necessary training.
    • Supports all company and department goals.
    • Communicates any system issues that can affect system processes immediately, develops action plans as needed to prevent downtime or customer issues.
    • Supports and monitors delivery, storage and distribution in a manner that minimizes wait time for processing and consolidating movements.
    • Manages the CS and Part/Warehouse department daily.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED required.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Operations or similar field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
    • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience required.
    • Knowledge of customer service and support regulations and compliance standards.
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • Ability to work with all levels of management.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constant changing priorities with enthusiasm.

    This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items.     The job is also eligible to participate in GLOVIS EA's outstanding benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) Plan with $1/$1 matching up to plan provisions, as well as generous paid time off. This position is eligible for the leased vehicle program.

    The estimated base salary range for this job is $81,000-$85,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
