    The Opportunity

    The role of Patient Experience Representative involves assisting potential new patients with initial assessment scheduling and answering inquiries related to Mindful Care through phone and email. This position is crucial for building strong patient relationships and guiding them towards treatment. A genuine desire to help others and advocate for an exceptional patient experience is essential.


    Responsibilities
    • Engage with prospective patients to link them with Mindful Care
    • Handle all incoming calls on the new patient line
    • Arrange and confirm all new patient appointments
    • Gather relevant clinical and insurance details for scheduling purposes
    • Evaluate patient requirements to match them with suitable treatment options
    • Assist callers/patients with queries regarding new patient appointments or referrals
    • Respond to any voicemails left on the new patient line
    • Act as a proponent for both Mindful Care and potential patients to ensure a positive patient experience
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Candidate Profile
    • High school diploma or equivalent is a prerequisite
    • Background in a call center setting; experience in healthcare is advantageous
    • Prior customer service experience, particularly in medical or mental health practices, is desirable
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
    • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
    • Capability to schedule appointments based on patient needs
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in computer usage
    • Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds

    Position Type & Schedule
    • Type: Regular Full-time
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-7pm ET, rotating weekends
    • On-site role in White Plains, NY

    Compensation

    This position offers a base salary starting at $17/hr. Besides the base salary, eligibility for benefits (subject to criteria) such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and company holidays. Total compensation considers factors like job type, location, education, work experience, and certifications.
