Description

Office Duties

  • Answers phone calls, routes calls to appropriate personnel, takes messages and enters information into ECW.
  • Exercises judgment in handling urgency of phone calls to physicians.
  • Ensures that all messages (telephone or ECW) are routed to correct physician by end of business day.
  • Schedules appointments, provides patient with all necessary information prior to visit.
  • Ensures all information entered into ECW is accurate.
  • Check Patient portal retrieve and respond to requests.
  • Fax requests for authorization, medical notes, request for medical necessity, as requested.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of eClinical Works electronic health record software preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • At least 2 years' of relevant experience
  • Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency's corporate compliance program, including the code of business contact, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistle blower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all compliance investigations and reviews.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Pay
- $16-$18 per hour

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
