Laura Murphy

, I was lucky enough to attend Saunders Trades and Technical High School in Yonkers, NY and major in Cosmetology. This allowed me to learn the craft of hairdressing, which I have been doing professionally ever since. While this industry has given and taught me a lot throughout the years, I feel as though I am ready to look beyond the scissors. I am in search of a career within the Phlebotomy field as I believe this is a job I can do well and execute tasks in a timely and precise manner. Throughout my training, I found that I thrived while working under pressure to ensure my sticks were done correctly and without pain or discomfort to the patient. I am hopeful that taking my newly learned skills into a lab will only help me grow within the field and will allow me to learn and experience more within the medical profession.
