    The HR Generalist will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and consultation. Position will offer guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices.

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides first line of HR support to associates, including consolation on various HR related topics.
    • Coordinates all staffing needs with management staff.
    • Coordinates personnel requisitions for additions, replacements and temporary positions and maintains file of requisitions.
    • Maintain internal job postings log and files, coordinating interviews with operations
    • Prepares internal and external job postings using Applicant Tracking System
    • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
    • Coordinates shift transfers and voluntary switches.
    • Coordinates shut downs and assists Human Resource Manager in lay-offs.
    • Processes all status changes and obtains appropriate signatures.
    • Prepares and processes separation paperwork and obtains appropriate signatures (includes deactivating security badge, preparing separation notice, sending benefit letter and appropriate forms).
    • Conducts exit interviews and manages exit process.
    • Enters status change information into payroll system (ADP EV5) and forwards copies to payroll.
    • Updates headcount report and hourly production organization chart weekly.
    • Order temps and coordinate with department manager/coordinator/leader.
    • Monitors and maintains temp list and weekly dollars spent.
    • Verifies clock hours and submit to temp agency weekly
    • Verifies and approves temporary help billings and submits to accounts payable.
    • Coordinates personnel requisitions for temporary help and maintains files.
    • Resolves all temporary help issues with the assistance of the agency and management staff.
    • Manage and enforce safety program throughout the plant, assist in all safety investigations.
    • Schedule annual hearing tests with outside vendor.
    • Process time off requests using eTIME
    • Manages benefit program for associates using BenXpress.
    • Track training records and enter in QMS system.

    Coordinates safety shoe and glasses program.

    • Schedules and posts shoe mobile
    • Maintains and updates safety shoe and glasses logs
    • Resolves associate issues with vendors

    Administers associate gift program (funeral, births, hospitalization)

    Administers annual service award program

    Processes all unemployment claims.

    • Assists Human Resource Manager in investigating associate issues and complaints.
    • Assists department in preparing for associate functions (holiday functions, luncheons, picnic, family day, perfect attendance incentives, holiday gifts, etc.)
    • Maintains security badge system (new hires, renewals, visitor passes, separations, etc.)
    • Punctual and regular attendance is required.
    • Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
    • Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.
    • Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
    • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
    • Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of three (3) years five (5) years of experience in human resources
    • In-depth knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
    • Experience administering safety programs.
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
    • Hands on experience with HRIS (ADP) systems is highly preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • High level of confidentiality
    • High ethical conduct

    • Responsible for customer invoices and ensures that the invoices are produced and delivered to accounting promptly.
    • Manages and implements change to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Sees that all work completes established review/approval processes before being reviewed by clients or turned over to suppliers
    • Take calls as needed after hours.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
    • Maintains project documentation and proper routing of projects through studio utilizing established review/approval processes
    • Work with customers to access and maintain image and content databases (digital asset management)
    • Stays aware of client activities to provide backup when project management is not available
