- Be the brand ambassador for entire SDC portfolio and build strong relationships with account decision makers to achieve shared sales goals and ensure opportunities are being capitalized on through prospecting and selling
- Be the liaison between accounts and SDC transportation team to ensure effective delivery and maintenance of out of code (OOC) standards
- Effectively merchandise and monitor cold stock, ads, backstock and displays to ensure proper representation and maintenance
- Identify trends to accurately order and maintain adequate inventory for all accounts
- Consistently scan accounts for opportunities to grow points of distribution, address opportunities and drive execution
- Partner with Area Sales Manager to develop short-term and long-term goals for each account
- Maintain self-education on all SDC distributed brands (as applicable), and the craft beer industry
- Educate buyers on new releases, schematic adds and pending resets
- 2+ years of related sales experience required
- Effective communication with proven ability to interact effectively with management and sales representatives
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Proven ability to effectively present information
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Must have reliable transportation and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record, valid CA driver' license required
- Travel Requirements: Regular travel required to SDC accounts, spending at least 50% of their time in the field
- Valid CA Drivers license
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the last 5 years and reliable transportation,

- Annual Salary Range: $48,500-$50,500

Stone Distributing (SDC) was founded in the spirit of craft camaraderie. When no distributor in the late 90s would accept Stone's hop-forward beers, the brewery self-distributed and brought along other craft brands as well to form an impressive portfolio for Southern California. More than two decades later, SDC is now among the largest independent distributors of specialty beverages in the country. In 2022, SDC became a standalone distributor, independent of Stone Brewing Co.
We are known for our investment in growing brands within a diverse portfolio including craft beer, hard kombucha, hard tea, non-alcoholic beverages and more. SDC operates warehouses in San Marcos, CA and Downey, CA and services nearly all of Southern California. We've enjoyed an incredible 25+ years of following our passion, and we are in search of people who are also passionate about pursuing their craft to join Stone Distributing.
Summary
The Sales Representative Chains role is responsible for actively growing, servicing, and developing relationships with all assigned accounts. The role will act as a brand ambassador for all SDC portfolio and are responsible for increasing visibility.
Only applicants who reside or would be willing to relocate to the Huntington Beach, CA area will be considered. No relocation assistance will be provided.
