Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Proficient in Korean)

Job Description

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist plays a vital role in overseeing product management to swiftly introduce new and renewed imported products (mainly from South Korea) to the market in adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring FDA/USDA/CFIA labeling compliance of imported products, including translation and verification of labeling information.
Collaborating with stakeholders across different functions in the US and South Korea headquarters to guarantee labeling compliance.
Developing Nutrient Fact Panels and ingredient statements based on relevant regulatory jurisdictions using Genesis software.
Reviewing product claims in marketing materials for compliance with regulations and company guidelines.
Staying updated on regulatory changes to ensure ingredient, formula, and labeling compliance.
Contributing to enhancing regulatory and compliance processes, procedures, and training.
Maintaining records for audits and handling assigned projects/tasks.

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Food Science, Nutrition, or related fields.
2+ years of pertinent experience in food regulatory matters.
Familiarity with FDA/USDA/CFIA food labeling regulations and documentation requirements.
Experience with GENESIS program is advantageous.
Initiative, ability to work autonomously, and good decision-making skills are essential.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of food product development and import/export processes is beneficial.
Fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
