    JOB OPPORTUNITY:

    The key responsibility of the Account Manager is to secure orders for White Drive Motors & Steering from clients to meet a specified minimum net booking target. This role involves coordinating with the Sales Director to devise strategies and tactics for achieving the projected net bookings. The Account Manager will drive the expansion of existing product lines, boost customer orders, and attract new clients and product requests. Additionally, providing valuable insights to help the company develop tailored strategies and products that cater to the needs of current and potential customers. Reporting to the Sales Director, in this role, you will fuel substantial growth by enhancing client relationships, providing support, and facilitating expansion within the motor and steering industry. Meeting sales, margin, and market share targets in alignment with the strategic plan. The designated territory will primarily cover the Northeast United States, with potential expansion based on demand.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    - Manage client relationships to strategically plan, negotiate, and boost revenue and market share.

    - Utilize sales tools to develop and oversee strategic plans within designated accounts to drive performance.

    - Provide monthly product forecasts to optimize supply chain and production efficiency.

    - Achieve the set minimum net booking goal by receiving unit orders and managing cancellations.

    - Collaborate with internal teams to identify customer needs and support requirements, ensuring account growth and profitability surpass targets.

    - Verify purchase orders, terms, pricing, and implementation dates, reporting any deviations to relevant teams.

    - Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and payments, managing reconciliations efficiently.

    - Address any unmet requirements or critical deviations promptly.

    - Demonstrate adaptability in ambiguous situations.

    - Meet or exceed the forecasted unit and $ net bookings for the assigned area.

    - Act as the primary point of contact to guarantee exceptional customer service across all business aspects.

    - Develop net booking forecasts for the region on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

    - Communicate effectively with customers on crucial matters and ensure satisfactory resolutions.

    - Maintain accurate call reports and correspondence records.

    - Manage expenses efficiently and submit timely reports.

    - Foster close relationships with all company departments, especially Customer Service and Technical Support.

    - Maintain customer database accuracy and generate necessary reports from field data.

    - Identify and support additional product sales opportunities to drive growth.


    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    - Proactive and adept at motivating teams.

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP.

    REQUIREMENTS:


    - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

    - Five years of marketing and sales experience in manufacturing.

    - Alternatively, ten years of experience in marketing, sales, or account management in manufacturing or engineering.


    KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:


    - Minimum five years of engineering experience.

    - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.

    - Alternatively, ten years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.

    - Previous experience in motors and steering account management is advantageous.

    - Demonstrated success in sales and consultative value selling.

    - Strong team and project management skills for navigating unpredictable environments.

    - Willingness to travel, potentially exceeding 25%, subject to demand.
