    Mittera is GROWING and currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team The Leadership and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding our emerging leaders and employees with high potential through their career trajectories, emphasizing the optimization of their capabilities. This role also encompasses managing the Learning Management System (LMS), administering training programs across the organization, and developing customized training plans for each role and department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop comprehensive curriculum for learning and development initiatives, including LEAD, After-LEAD, and Mittera University, in collaboration with Business Unit Leaders, ensuring alignment with business needs and audience requirements.
    • Stay abreast of business trends and leadership development topics to ensure program relevance and timeliness.
    • Update curriculum as necessary to reflect changes in the business landscape or emerging leadership paradigms. Previous programs have predominantly featured internal speakers, occasionally supplemented by external leadership experts. Program durations are as follows:
    • LEAD - 12 months
    • After-LEAD - ongoing, with quarterly meetings
    • Mittera University - 12 months, commencing with in-person kickoff and concluding with graduation sessions.
    • Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and senior executives across Mittera to identify potential candidates for program participation.
    • For Mittera University, extend invitations to apply for the program to identified employees, conduct interviews with members of Mittera's Senior Leadership team, collaborate on final selections, and notify applicants of their status. Develop alternative development plans for those not selected, in coordination with Mittera's Senior Leadership team. Initiate this process approximately three months before program kickoff.
    • Schedule monthly classes for each program.
    • One month before each session, liaise with potential speakers to plan and prepare the content, including any presentation materials.
    • Procure necessary materials for classes, such as books, and ensure timely distribution to participants.
    • Act as the primary facilitator for each session, bridging the content with participants' roles and career aspirations.
    • Conduct periodic check-ins with Mittera University participants throughout the year, gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement. Similar check-ins with LEAD participants as needed.
    • Organize and oversee graduation ceremonies for Mittera University.
    • Assist local HRMs with building an apprenticeship program to fit their needs.
    • Manage Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee the administration and optimization of Mittera's Learning Management System, ensuring its effectiveness in delivering training materials and tracking employee progress.
    • Training Administration: Coordinate and administer training sessions across the company, leveraging the LMS and other platforms as necessary to facilitate seamless delivery.
    • Development of Training Plans: Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to develop tailored training plans for each role and department within the organization. These plans should align with organizational goals and individual development needs, fostering skill enhancement and career progression.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • A college degree, leadership experience, and familiarity with Mittera's business are preferred, though consideration will be given to candidates demonstrating the potential to acquire requisite knowledge and skills.
    • Proficient leadership capabilities, capable of motivating teams to meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Passion for ongoing learning and the ability to instill the same enthusiasm in others.
    • Strong leadership skills coupled with a deep understanding of Mittera's business and industry landscape.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Capacity to inspire emerging leaders toward continuous learning and growth, fostering enhanced contributions within the organization.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, with a focus on meticulous session preparation.
    • Basic literacy in reading and understanding instructions, correspondence, and memos.
    • Proficiency in presenting information effectively to individuals and small groups.
    • Competence in basic arithmetic operations and data interpretation.
    Physical Requirements
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
    • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination.
    • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
    Work Environment

    This position requires work in an office environment; however, remote or hybrid work may be considered. The office environment has a low noise level with ambient temperatures controlled by heating and air conditioning.
