- Responsible for maintaining effectiveness and accuracy of records throughout the lifecycle of a student.
- Participate on college committees, staff and professional meetings, and other appropriate meeting/committee assignments.
- Maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and clients and actively support a team approach to accomplishing goals.
- Enter a variety of information into computer databases.
- Maintains effective working relationships with outside institutions of higher learning while representing CWI.
- Organizes the return of testing materials in a timely manner via surface mail, interoffice mail, and email.
- Adheres to the strict proctoring guidelines and standards of the National Collegiate Testing Association (NCTA) while enforcing the policies and procedures of CWI.
- Informs students of their placement scores and directs them accordingly.
- High school diploma or equivalent diploma.
- Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal and writing skills are necessary, including public speaking skills and the ability to represent the college in a positive way to diverse populations.
- Good technical troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience working in a community college setting, serving a diverse, non-traditional student population preferred.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague ERP or other major ERP systems preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

The Specialist position works closely with members of the Enrollment Management & Student Services team to provide enrollment, admissions, and college information and assistance to students, prospective students, staff members and the general public.
Including but not limited to the following:
scheduling, administer & proctor wide range of exams, such as: placements, Pearson, Scantron, CLEP, NOCTI, TSAs, and other proctored classroom tests for CWI and outside institutions.
New assessments may be added at a later date. Arrange and facilitate testing accommodations, as needed.Essential Functions:
