- Conduct diagnostic procedures and metabolic testing in the Pulmonary Function area
- Perform Transtracheal oxygen administration
- Execute pulmonary function testing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Certification or registration as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) or as a Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT or RPFT) by the NBRC
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital Respiratory Therapy or Pulmonary Function
- Must possess American Heart Association BLS/HCP certification
- Training in metabolic parameters is a plus
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas sampling, and non-invasive monitoring
- Evaluate test results, patient performance, and clinical implications
- Participate in quality control procedures and equipment maintenance
- Ensure accuracy in documenting services and supplies provided
- Oversee department charges and chargemaster process
- Execute charge capture and reconciliation processes
- Administer patient assessment and education
