Pedagogical Specialist (m/f/d) - Part-time or Full-time in Reedurban, OH


The Lebenshilfe Gelsenkirchen is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to lead self-determined lives and participate in society through various services.

Supported by employees (m/f/d) of the Lebenshilfe Center, individuals with disabilities receive individual assistance to manage their daily lives.


The Lebenshilfe Center offers a family support service, including counseling, individual support, group activities, holiday care (Ferienspaß), vacation trips, and school accompaniment.

We are currently seeking a pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) to join our team at the Lebenshilfe Center.

No day is the same, and your tasks will be diverse:

  • Planning and coordinating individual support
  • Conducting interviews for volunteer employees (m/f/d)
  • Creating care plans and renewing integration assistance
  • Assisting with applications to the LWL or health insurance companies
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, parents, and legal guardians
  • Conducting initial consultations with new clients
  • Training volunteer employees (m/f/d)
  • Public relations for volunteering
  • Participating in team meetings
  • Continuing education and attending working groups
  • Documentation tasks
  • Counseling families on psychosocial and social legal matters

What we expect from you:

  • A degree in Social Work (B.A.) or Social Pedagogy (B.A.) or a comparable degree
