Central Regional Hospital
We are currently recruiting for multiple Health Care Technician II's that will function as a Therapeutic Support Specialist II (TSS II) at Central Regional Hospital (CRH) on the Forensic Services Unit, specifically primary care unit Forensic Maximum (A0) or Forensic Medium (B0).
The Forensic Services Unit (FSU) is a three sectional unit serving the Pretrial/Maximum, Medium and Minimum security needs of the court-ordered patients.
FSU provides services for all counties in the entire State of North Carolina.The primary purpose of this position is to monitor patients and perform technical procedures (within scope of practice).
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
The normal work hours for these positions are 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, and 11:00pm-7:30am, including alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
As of June 1, 2023, the new salary range will be $30,179 - $45,268."

Ability to write and speak English proficiently

Must be therapeutic & exercise good judgement
Must be able to obtain and maintain the following after hire: CNAI (Certified Nursing Assistant I), NVCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention), APT (Advanced Physical Training), CPR, and other facility required training.
ADA Physical Requirements will be discussed during interview but, at a minimum, include: lifting, kneeling, walking up and down stairs, ability to perform CPR, NVCI, APT and lifting of 50 pounds.
Management prefers candidates exhibiting good communication and documentation skills, using good judgement, and modeling appropriate behaviors and experience with population served.
High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Condition for Continued Employment As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.

Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus (effective 08/02/2022)
