    Job Title: Manager, Security

    Job Description

    We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our Global Security Operations team at NBCUniversal in the exciting location of 30 Rock. As a Manager, Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the site, employees, guests, and audience members. This challenging yet fulfilling position involves collaborating with law enforcement and requires strong investigative skills.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee emergency evacuation procedures, active shooter trainings, and threat assessments
    • Coordinate with vendors and establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Lead and mentor the guard staff, ensuring efficient management during shifts
    • Supervise the training of guards to fulfill their various responsibilities
    • Manage the onboarding process for guests needing special access
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards for live studio audiences
    • Maintain and monitor security devices and equipment
    • Document all incidents and conduct preliminary investigations as necessary
    • Act as the primary point of contact for security matters
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
    • 7+ years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corporate security with executive-level exposure
    • Proficiency in conducting confidential investigations and implementing security strategies for large-scale events
    • Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative environments and lead teams
    • Previous supervisory experience and budget management skills
    • Familiarity with access control and surveillance technologies
    • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications
    • Operational expertise and quick responsiveness to security issues
    Desired Characteristics:
    • Prior experience in television or entertainment production
    • Background in corporate security
    • Established network with law enforcement agencies
    • Project management skills and knowledge of security trends
    • Effective leadership and relationship-building abilities
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    Additional Information:

    • Required On-Site: This role is based full-time at an NBCUniversal-designated worksite
    • Eligible for company benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and more
    • Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (bonus potential)
