Gulen Yesilbag Tonga - Senior Scientist, Formulations
Originally from Turkey, Gulen Tonga obtained her PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She joined Tessera in 2021 after completing her Postdoc with Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. At Tessera, Gulen leads LNP formulations for delivery to the liver using rodent models. She has over 50 publications and one patent.

Originally from Maine, Annie obtained her Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University. She spent eight years in Biotech, Engineering and Tech agency recruitment, then joined Tessera in 2022. Annie loves watching her new hires grow in their careers and getting to know her colleagues from all over the world Outside of work, she lives in NH with her robot-building husband, two feisty daughters, and two Siberian cats.
