    Description
    Large commercial concrete contractor in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Project Manager.
    As project manager for the company you would be responsible for the following:


    Purchasing of project materials such as but not limited to concrete supplier, reinforcing steel supplier, and supplier of all miscellaneous material.

    Prepare submittal schedule for product literature.

    Reviewing contract drawings and specifications to make product submittals to the project

    architect/engineer for approval.

    Coordinate with the rebar detailer to establish a reinforcing steel shop drawing submittal

    schedule.

    Monitor product / shop drawing submittal schedules to expedite approval of products and

    shop drawings.

    Review drawing updates for changes and track / submit all changes for construction and

    pricing.

    Attend weekly project meetings onsite with General Contractor/ Construction Manager.

    Support / Assist project superintendent with material deliveries and coordination and

    monitor job cost.

    Work with General Contractor / Construction Manager in obtaining job pertinent

    information.

    The Project Engineer / Manager position requires prior computer knowledge and skill. Training will be provided for company specific systems and operations.
