A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with PLC programming and refrigeration experience to join their team. The role involves designing control systems for industrial refrigeration setups according to both customer and internal specifications. Responsibilities include generating electrical and control design documents from P&ID, ensuring the accuracy of electrical drawings, and creating Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documents.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and modify PLC and HMI software, coordinate with customers to integrate PLC software with their DCS/SCADA systems, and provide ongoing support for existing installations. Additionally, the role will require commissioning and startup support at customer sites as necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team are essential for success in this position.
