    Description

    Client Advisor

    Position Statement: The Client Advisor cultivates new investment and wealth management clients and works with existing GFP clientele implementing wealth management strategies. This position works with the entire team to consult and grow client portfolios while aiming to further expand GFP's business.

    Summary of Duties: This position will report to the Senior Managing Director and will be responsible for managing client's investment portfolios and planning strategies, as well as generating new leads and business for GFP.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Develops relationships with high-net worth clients, leverages Centers of Influence, and expands book of business by obtaining clients in strategic geographical regions.

    · Focuses on community involvement and participates in applicable organizations that act as a resource for knowledge within the industry.

    · Researches the market to stay up to date on new trends and opportunities for growth in order to provide the best counsel to existing customers.

    · Guides clients toward making profitable and secure financial decisions by regularly reviewing portfolios to meet their goals and objectives.

    · Provides expertise and support to clients regarding wealth management including conducting regular meetings/presentations to educate clientele, performing analysis on accounts, and following through on any service requests.

    · Represents the company's core values and maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    Position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field with a minimum of five years of experience as a Wealth Advisor or Financial Advisor. Position requires experience working with high-net worth individuals and an extensive track record of developing new business, clients, and assets. CFP preferred, but not required. Portable book of business also preferred, but not required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
