    A Job in Community Support Specialist at Adapt of Missouri (AOM) in partnership with Compass Health Network

    Are you looking to make an impact and be part of a team that is dedicated to providing essential services to adults living with mental health disorders in the St. Louis metro area? Adapt of Missouri (AOM), established in 1982, is now a partner organization of Compass Health Network, offering community support, psychosocial rehabilitation, and other critical services.

    Job Description:
    • Assist clients with severe and persistent mental illness in successful community living
    • Provide comprehensive services like case management, psychiatric rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and more
    • Transport clients when needed and participate in crisis intervention activities

    Responsibilities:
    • Assess and monitor client's community adjustment
    • Coordinate individualized treatment plans and provide necessary assistance to access mental health services
    • Encourage medication compliance and support in accessing public services
    • Train clients in daily living skills and facilitate recovery efforts
    • Support families in treatment planning and service linking

    Requirements:
    • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field preferred
    • Minimum of one to four years of relevant experience working with individuals with mental health challenges
    • Valid driver's license and minimum automobile coverage

    Certifications:
    • Applicants will receive training and certification in CPR, First Aid, CPI, and Medication Level I Aide
