- Provide assistance during tastings, including product guidance and other sensory tests
- Support team by developing beverage build of materials (BOM) and recipe cards
- Assist in beverage presentations and product tastings with leadership
- Collect beverage ingredients analytical data (brix, pH, moisture, solids, and other physical properties) as needed
- Manage ingredients shelf-life studies from storing samples to conducting testing and reporting results to the product developers.
- Monitor and keep the lab organized and stocked as needed for project work
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments
- An associate degree or higher in Food Science, culinary or other related fields
- Food and beverage preparation experience. Barista experience a plus.
- Basic knowledge of math and science
- Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
- Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a face pace environment
- Ability to follow direction, seek guidance as necessary and provide regular progress report
- Ability to work independently and as part as a team
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service with attention to details
- Ability to build positive and effective working relationships with other team members
